Meet The Team | Aykurt Yilmaz| Supply Chain Manager

My main role at TC TECH is managing the Supply Chain. For us this is a large wide area, so I manage several roles in our Supply Chain.

Sourcing, Managing the company’s supply portfolio, relations and agreements, as well as controlling the incoming quality.

Strategic/operative purchaser, Placing orders and making sure we have the necessary items in place at the right time, so we keep the production and projects running. Avoid lack of material ,keep the lead times as short as possible, and manage the cost according to our targets.

Production planner, Running our ERP system, production plan, coordinating with our sub-suppliers and substitution processes CO. All this in coordination with the production of our TCP system structure.

Stock care, Keeping our internal and external stock inventory live

Logistics,  Making sure we prepare the right shipping instructions, packing and transportation of goods.

The unique technology for our TCP systems means that the included parts many times are unique as well. During development of our systems we are trying different solutions with different items. To Supply these items at the right time and keep the cost in balance is a challenge, but also very possible.

I work together with our other teams within the company, such as design, operations and management. We all have unique skills in the company, and working  together to find the suitable source for our unique technology, and meet our customers’ satisfaction is the key.

The main role of Supply chain is to avoid or minimize any delay of material, and secure the right quality by keeping the relations and communication with suppliers up to date.  This will support the development for R&D and implementation into production in a professional way.
